Shipping in containers can take months, and that doesn’t include the possibility of port delays. While shipping your motorcycle by air can take anywhere between 3 to 10 days from pickup to delivery overseas.
There is actually not much that you should do yourself. Once the motorcycle arrives at one of our loading facilities, we can properly disconnect the battery, drain the fuel and remove any parts necessary to fit in a crate.
Far from one of our loading facilities? We can pickup the motorcycle from anywhere in the United States and bring it to us for crating and shipping. We offer both open and enclosed ground transportation. You can see all of our rates for collecting a motorcycle in the states.
Many adventurers do not know this but air freight rates are calculated on a weight per volume basis. So the smaller you can make your bike for shipping the better. We usually remove the front tire and any side moulding that can decrease the volume of the bike. We then enclose your motorcycle in a custom enclosure designed that is designed to fit around the bike while keeping any removed parts secured inside.
Once your motorcycles arrives at the airport of your choosing, we have the ability to deliver the bike to you or you can pick it up yourself directly from the airport.
Our extensive network of global agents allows us to clear and register your motorcycle for use at its destination.
As always, feel free to contact us if you have any questions about shipping your motorcycle via air freight.
