Get Classical at the Concours d'Elegance
You may not be a golf lover, but aficianados of classic cars will love what's happening on August 17th, 2014 at the 18th fairway of Pebble Beach Golf Links in Pebble Beach, California. The Concours d' Elegance is a veritable beauty contest of classic cars assembled from owners all over the world and is the definning venue of all classic car events at the annual Monterey Bay Car Week.
In its 60th year, attendees can expect to view over 200 rare classic cars, concepts and new vehicles on the prestigious grounds of the Pebble Beach Lodge. Only cars of the highest pedigree are admitted to show here, having been carefully curated and judged by a highly esteemed panel of discerning judges. The result for spectators is nothing less than spectacular!
Highlights for this season's display include everything from a rare 1961 Ferrari 250 GT California Spyder with an estimated value of $13-15 million, to a 1936 Ford Deluxe Station Wagon valued between $80-100,000. Most of the rare cars to be assembled here belong either to private collectors or musuems and are treated with the same care one might expect of fine art or jewels. Take a look at our Classic Car Resource Handbook.
Not surprisingly, most cars are not driven here by their owners but are expertly delivered by professional car transport and shipping companies. West Coast Shipping will be on the concourse to discuss any of your classic and exotic car shipping needs. New customers will be pleasantly treated to enclosed, free transportation from Pebble Beach to our warehouse in San Pablo.
